Fried banana sticks: easy and irresistible!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup flour;

20 g (0.7 oz) glutinous rice flour;

½ cup rice flour;

70 g (2.4 oz) sugar;

½ tsp salt;

1 ½ tsp baking powder;

½ cup full-fat cream;

¼+2/3 cup water;

3 tbsp sesame seeds;

1/3 cup shredded coconut;

baby bananas.

METHOD

Whisk dry ingredients together, then added cream and ¼ cup of water. Whisk until thick batter forms. Start gradually adding 2/3 cup of water while whisking constantly, until smooth and runny batter forms.
Add sesame and coconut.
Roll one peeled banana in plastic and flatten with a cutting board. Unroll and cut in half if the banana is too big.
Dip each banana slice into the batter, fry until light golden in color and then dip into the batter again. Pinch with kitchen tongs while frying to make long and thin sticks.
Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
