Ingredients:
10 lasagna sheets, parboiled;
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded;
300 g (10 oz) cream cheese;
2 tbsp parsley;
2 cups Bolognese sauce;
1 ½ cup breadcrumbs;
1 egg;
1 cup flour;
vegetable oil for deep frying.
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded;
300 g (10 oz) cream cheese;
2 tbsp parsley;
2 cups Bolognese sauce;
1 ½ cup breadcrumbs;
1 egg;
1 cup flour;
vegetable oil for deep frying.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 160C (320F). Cover square baking pan with foil and brush with oil.
Mix cream cheese with parsley, add salt and pepper to taste.
Spread some Bolognese sauce on the bottom of the pan, place two lasagna sheets on top and cover with cream cheese. Add some shredded cheese and place two lasagna sheets on top. Add Bolognese and cover with lasagna again. Repeat layers until you fill up the form.
Bake lasagna for 40 minutes and let cool down completely.
Cover pan with parchment paper, top with wooden board and add 3 bottle of water to weight it down.
Let lasagna sit in the fridge overnight.
Flip the pan, remove foil and cut lasagna into 12 pieces. Freeze lasagna sticks for 3 hours, then dredge in flour, dip in egg and cover with breadcrumbs. For extra crispiness dip in egg and cover with breadcrumbs one more time.
Fry lasagna sticks in preheated oil for 3-4 minutes or until brown and crispy. Insert popsicle stick inside and serve.
