Rose savory cake: fluffy and perfect for every occasion!

INGREDIENTS
140 g (4.9 oz) thinly sliced ham;
3 cups flour;
1 ½ tbsp sugar;
15 g (0.4 oz) fresh yeast;
1 tsp salt;
¾ cup warm milk;
¼ cup warm water;
2 tbsp butter, melted.
METHOD
- Make the dough by whisking salt with flour. Separately activate the yeast in warm milk with some sugar. Pour yeast solution, water and melted butter into the flour and knead to make a smooth dough. Cover and set aside for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Using a small round cookie cutter, cut out ham slices.
- Roll out the dough and use the same cookie cutter to cut out the dough pieces.
- Layer 3 pieces of ham between 4 pieces of dough slightly overlapping as shown in the video. Roll and cut in half to make a rosebud.
- Fill springform with small roses, set them aside for 30 minutes then brush with egg wash and bake at 180C/350F for 40-45 minutes.
