Savory braid: the simple idea for your dinner!

So fluffy and tasty, it's perfect for any occasion!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
750g (6 cups) bread flour;
7g (2 tsp) dry yeast;
300ml (1 ¼ cup) warm milk;
50ml (¼ cup) olive oil;
50g (3 tbsp) butter;
2 eggs;
20g (3 tsp) salt;
Sliced cheese and ham;
Cherry tomatoes;
Egg wash or olive oil.
METHOD
- Whisk warm milk with yeast, add olive oil and eggs. Whisk again until combined.
- Separately combine flour with salt. Pour the liquids in and knead until the dough forms.
- Add soft butter and work it into the dough. Form the dough into a ball, cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Roll the dough out into a squire and cut into 3 equal strips.
- Place pieces of cheese and ham on top of each strip and pinch the edges, covering the filling.
- Connect three ropes at the top and pinch them together.
- Braid the dough as shown on the video, then set aside for 1 hour more.
- Brush the braid with olive oil or egg wash, decorate with tomatoes and basil leaves/parsley.
- Bake at 190C/375F for 50 minutes.
