Yakgwa recipe: delicious honey cookies ready in a few steps!

A delicious Korean recipe to try!

INGREDIENTS
Cookies:
 160 g (5.6 oz) sugar;
 3 eggs;
 330 g (11 oz) flour;
 60 g (2 oz) rice flour;
 100 g (3.5 oz) dry donut mix;
 1 tbsp vegetable oil;
 vegetable oil frying.
 
Syrup:
 300 g (10 oz) honey;
 1/3 cup water;
 2 tbsp brown sugar;
 3 slices ginger;
 ½ tsp cinnamon.
 
METHOD
  1. Whisk eggs and sugar together until pale. Add vegetable oil.
  2.  Separately whisk dry ingredients: donut mix, rice flour and regular flour.
  3.  Combine dry and wet mixtures to form the dough. Set aside in fridge for 1 hour, wrapped in plastic.
  4.  Cut the dough into small portions and use cookie press to form the flours out of it.
  5.  Fry yakgva for 5-6 minutes at preheated (140C/285F) vegetable oil.
  6.  Boil ingredients for the syrup and leave the mixture too cool down until warm.
  7.  Pour warm syrup over the cookies and set them aside in fridge for 24 hours.
