Homemade churros: the secrets to make them perfect!

 Making churros from scratch is so easy! Just follow my recipe and you’ll be in for a treat!

INGREDIENTS
150ml (0.6 cup) Water
36g butter
10g sugar
a pinch salt
80g (0.6 cups) flour (all purpose)
10g corn starch
1 egg
 
100g (0.5 cup) sugar
5g cinnamon
 
METHOD
  1. Mix flour with starch.
  2. Mix water, butter, salt, sugar. Heat until butter is melted. Add flour and starch and brew the dough. Transfer the dough to a glass dish and cool.
  3. Combine the egg with the dough. Put the dough in a pastry bag and squeeze the churros into the heated oil.
  4. Sprinkle the churros with cinnamon sugar.
