Churros bites

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CHURROS:
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
 
INSTRUCTIONS
MAKE THE CHURROS:
Combine 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon in a bowl.
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the water, sugar, salt and vegetable oil. Bring the mixture to a boil and remove from the heat.
Stir in the flour and eggs.
Pipe the dough over the pot of oil, fry churros them until golden brown and cooked through. Roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
