YAKITORI: the Japanese recipe for grilled chicken skewers with teriyaki sauce!

INGREDIENTS
550g of chicken
Lemon (juice)
Pepper
Salt
35g (2 1/2 tbsp) of sake
35g (2 1/2 tbsp) of soy sauce
15g (3 tsp) of sugar
Oil for frying

METHOD
1. Cut the chicken into pieces and transfer to the bowl. Add the lemon (juice), pepper, and salt, and mix all well.
2. Take a skewer stick and skewer several pieces of chicken (about 7-8 pieces).
3. In a small bowl, add the sake, soy sauce, and sugar, and mix well.
4. Pour the oil into the pan and transfer the skewers with the chicken to the pan. Brown them on both sides, cover with the lid, and cook for about 10 minutes.
5. After time has elapsed, pour the prepared sauce over and cook until the chicken absorbs the sauce.
6. Serve yakitori on a serving dish and enjoy.
