The BEST Greek Pita Flatbread: super EASY to make! ✨

INGREDIENTS
520g (4 1/4 cups) of all-purpose flour
5g of dry yeast
320ml (1 1/4 cups) of water
30g (2 tbsp) of extra virgin olive oil
15g (3/4 tbsp) of salt
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the flour, dry yeast, water, and extra virgin olive oil and mix with the spatula. Finally, add the salt and knead it with your hands to obtain compact dough. Let the dough rise for 3 hours, or until it doubles in volume.
2. After elapsed, transfer the dough to the working surface and split it into 8 equal pieces.
3. Form the balls from each piece of the dough and roll it out to form discs of about 20 cm.
4. Add extra olive oil to the pan and place the pita. Cook over high heat for about 2 minutes per side, until it puffs up and becomes nice and soft.
5. Serve pita all together on a serving dish and enjoy.
