Homemade PEACH JAM: delicious and easy to prepare! π
published on 13 September, 2024 at 18:00
INGREDIENTS
2kg of peaches
750g (3 3/4 cups) of sugar
1 lemon (juice)
Ginger
METHOD
1. Wash and dry the peaches well. Then cut them into cubes.
2. Put them to cook in a pot with sugar. Stir occasionally, you will see that the sugar will start to thicken.
3. Also, add the lemon juice and continue cooking for 30 minutes, stirring often to prevent them from sticking to the bottom.
4. When the sugar has dissolved and the peaches are soft, blend them directly in the pot.
5. Now you can pour your jam into well-closed and sterilized jars.
6. If you want to preserve it under vacuum, just put the jars in boiling water for 20 minutes.
7. Your jam is ready! Once opened, it will keep in the fridge for at least 10 days.
