How to can peaches at home

They are delicious! 
 
INGREDIENTS
500g (2 1/2 cups) of Sugar
17 Peaches
1l (4 cups) of Water

METHOD
  1. In a pot add the water and sugar and bring it to a boil to prepare the syrup.
  2. Divide peaches into two equal parts, remove the stone and peel them
  3. Place the peeled peaches in the jar and fill the jar with the syrup. Close well and put the jars covered with water in a pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil it for about 7-8 minutes and then remove them and let them cool.
