Stale bread meatballs with sauce: easy and delicious

INGREDIENTS
360g of stale bread
2 eggs
Parsley
10g (2 tbsp) of pecorino
15g (3 tbsp) of parmesan
Salt
Pepper
30g (1/4 cup) of breadcrumbs
Olive oil
1/2 of onion
520g (2 1/4 cups) of tomato sauce
Basil
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the bread in pieces and pour water over. Set aside 10 minutes.
2. After 10 minutes drain the bread and transfer it to the bowl. Add the eggs, parsley, pecorino, parmesan, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs and mix to combine. Take the mixture and obtain the balls.
3. Pour olive oil into the pan and arrange the prepared balls. Fry them until they become golden.
4. Add the tomato sauce, salt, and basil and cook until the sauce is thick. Remove from the heat.
5. Serve them all together on a serving plate.
