SAUSAGE RUSTIC: You can make these fantastic appetizers at home to serve at parties!

INGREDIENTS (for 20 puff pastry bites)
2 rectangular sheets of puff pastry
4 large chicken sausages
1 egg
Mustard, to taste
White sesame seeds, to taste
Black sesame seeds, to taste
 
METHOD
1. Cut each sheet of puff pastry in half.
2. Spread about one tablespoon of mustard over each half.
3. Place one sausage on each half sheet, first trimming off the two ends.
4. Roll the puff pastry around the sausage, keeping the seam side down.
5. Cut each roll into slices about 3 cm thick.
6. Arrange the bites on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush with beaten egg.
8. Sprinkle with white and black sesame seeds.
9. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
