Chocolate fluffy bread: the perfect snack with only few ingredients!
published on 5 August, 2024 at 21:00
INGREDIENTS
450g (3 3/4 cups) of flour
7g (1/2 tbsp) of dry yeast
30g (1/4 cup) of sugar
6g (1 tsp) of salt
240ml (1 cup) of milk
80g of eggs
50g (1/4 cup) of butter
Milk for brushing
Hazelnut cream
METHOD
1. In a bowl add the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt and whisk. Add the milk and eggs and mix. When the dough starts to form knead it with your hands. Gradually add the butter and knead it until the dough becomes smooth. Cover with cling film and let it rise for 2 hours, or until is double in volume.
2. After time has elapsed transfer the dough to the working surface and split it into 8 equal pieces. Form the balls and cover them with a cloth. Let them rise for 30 minutes.
3. After 30 minutes press each ball to punch out the gas and form the ball again. With the help of a rolling pin roll out the front part and cut it into strips. Roll out each ball.
4. Transfer them to the baking tray covered with parchment paper and put the mold on each one. Cover with a cloth and let them rise for 40 minutes.
5. Brush them with milk and transfer them to the oven. Bake at 180°C/360°F for 20 minutes.
6. Fill the fluffy bread with hazelnut cream and serve.
