Panna cotta: you only need a few ingredients for this fantastic dessert!
published on 4 July, 2024 at 20:00
INGREDIENTS
520ml (2 cups) cream
1 vanilla pod
90g (1/3 cup) of sugar
9g of gelatine
3 tbsp of water
Strawberries
Raspberry jam
Berry jam
Hazelnut cream
METHOD
1. In a bowl, dissolve the gelatin in water. Set it aside, you'll need it later.
2. Extract all the vanilla from the pod, but don't throw it away!
3. In a bowl, mix the cream, sugar, vanilla, and even the remaining pod well, it will give even more flavor!
4. Put the saucepan on the stove and start cooking. Add the gelatin and let it cook, stirring occasionally for a few minutes. The gelatin must dissolve completely, obtaining a smooth and lump-free consistency.
Now you can remove your cream from the heat and pour it into the molds.
5. Let it cool in the fridge for at least 5 hours.
6. Before unmolding it, dip the mold in boiling water, just for a few seconds, so it will unmold perfectly.
7. Your panna cotta is ready! Now you can decorate it as you prefer, with jam, fresh fruit, or melted chocolate for a truly delicious result.
