Brioche cake: how to make it soft and fragrant in a few steps!

INGREDIENTS
1 egg
50g (3 tbsp) sugar
7g (2 tsp) dry yeast
125ml (½ cup) milk
250g (2 cups) flour
2g (½ tsp) salt
30g (2 tbsp) butter
Melted butter
Egg wash

METHOD
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, yeast, and milk. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Leave to rest for 15 minutes.
- Add butter and knead well. Leave to rest for 60 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 parts and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and coat with butter.
- Arrange the dough on top of each other. Cut the dough and make a brioche.
- Leave to rest for another 50 minutes.
- Coat the brioche with egg wash.
- Bake at 340°F/170°C for 30 minutes. Serve.
