INGREDIENTS
250g (1 1/2 cup) of bread flour
1/2 tsp of salt
1 egg
2 tbsp of sugar
7g of dry yeast
120ml (1/2 cup) of milk
30g butter
1 egg, for coating
Hazelnut cream
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- In a bowl mix together warm milk with sugar, yeast, and egg. Add in flour, salt, and butter. Let the dough rise for 2 hours, or until doubled size.
- Roll out the dough and make a pattern onto it. Let it rise for another 40 minutes.
- Spread with egg and bake at 180’C (360’F) for 15 minutes.
- Serve with hazelnut cream and powdered sugar.
