Apricot brioches: fragrant and easy to prepare!

INGREDIENTS
500g (4 1/4 cups) flour
60ml (1/4 cup) water
1 egg
60ml (1/4 cup) milk
100 g yogurt
7g dry yeast
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
Apricots
Apricot marmalade
Powdered sugar
Egg yolk

METHOD
  1. In a bowl mix together milk, water, honey and yeast. Add in egg, yogurt, flour and butter.
  2. Let the dough rise for about an hour.
  3. Roll out the dough and put marmalade with apricots on top.
  4. Transfer to the baking pan. Spread with egg yolk.
  5. Bake at 170’C (340’F) for 45 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
