Breadsticks (grissini) recipe: great as a snack or for dipping!

Classic crispy Italian bread sticks, great as a snack or for dipping.
These are simple to make and taste just like they came from a restaurant!
These are simple to make and taste just like they came from a restaurant!
INGREDIENTS
250ml (1 cup) warm milk
10g (1 tbsp) sugar
5g (1 tsp) salt
7g dry yeast
40ml (5 tbsp) olive oil
400g (3 cups) white flour
Sesame seeds
METHOD
- Mix together milk, sugar and yeast. Add in oil, flour and salt. Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
- Roll out the dough and transfer it onto the plate with sesame seeds. Roll out the dough again and cut into the sticks.
- Fry in the hot oil until golden brown.
