Fried breadsticks: the perfect snack or appetizer!

Just a few ingredients to make this easy recipe!

INGREDIENTS

300g (1 ¾ cups) flour

7g (1 tsp) salt

150ml (1/3 cup) water

4g (1 tsp) dry yeast

Vegetable oil for frying

For serving:

Cherry tomatoes
Rocket salad

METHOD

In a bowl combine warm water and dry yeast. Whisk well and let sit for 10 minutes.
Stir in flour and salt, and start to mix the dough with a spatula. Then continue to knead it with your hands until you receive an elastic dough.
Cover and let sit for 1 hour.
Roll the dough into a rectangular shape and cut it into strips.
Fry in hot oil for 3-5 minutes or until golden.
Let the stripes drain on paper towels.
Serve with rocket salad and cherry tomatoes.
