Bread pockets with fried chicken: perfect for a quick and tasty appetizer!

INGREDIENTS

5-6 bread slices
Lettuce
Cherry tomatoes

Flour
2 eggs

Breadcrumbs

1 chicken breast
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp rosemary
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp paprika

METHOD

Cut the bread diagonally and secure it with a toothpick to make a pocket. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 10 minutes.
Cut chicken breast into strips and sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika, rosemary, oil, and lemon juice.
Dip into the flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs, and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Fill pockets with lettuce, cherries, and fried chicken.
