Mozzarella fried skewers: cheesy and irresistible!

They are irresistible!

INGREDIENTS
 Mozzarella, cut into cubes;
 Mortadella, cut into cubes;
 3 eggs;
 Breadcrumbs;
 Flour;
 500 ml (2 cups) milk;
 50 g (¼ cup) butter;
 40 g (3 tbsp) flour;
 Salt to taste;
 A pinch of nutmeg.
 
METHOD
  1.  Skewer mozzarella and mortadella pieces, alternating them.
  2.  Whisk eggs.
  3.  Melt butter over medium heat and add flour. Stir and cook for 1 minute, add milk and whisk until no lumps remain. Cook until thickens for 5-7 minutes, whisking constantly.
  4.  Season with salt and nutmeg to taste. Let cool down slightly.
  5.  Cover skewers with bechamel, then dredge in flour, dip into egg and cover with breadcrumbs. Repeat egg and breadcrumbs coating.
  6.  Fry skewers for 2 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.
