Easy giant focaccia bread: an easy recipe to try!

This homemade focaccia is surprisingly simple but makes rich, flavorful, and soft bread with ultra-crispy edges that you're going to love!
INGREDIENTS
5 cups flour;
1 cup warm milk;
1 cup warm water;
1 tsp sugar;
15 g (0.5 oz) fresh yeast;
3 tbsp vegetable oil;
Egg wash.
METHOD
- Whisk flour and salt together.
- Combine warm milk, water and sugar, then whisk crumbled fresh yeast into the liquids. Set aside until foam forms on the surface.
- Pour yeast solution and oil into the flour mixture. Knead the dough until it is smooth and slightly sticky. Drizzle with oil, cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Knead the dough once more. Spread olive oil on the bottom of a large pizza pan, cover with parchment and stretch the dough all over the pan. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Brush egg wash over the surface. Make holes all over the flatbread using a toothpick and make incisions with a fork.
- Bake at 200C/400F for 30-40 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
