Insect-based burgers, fried food and skewers: Tiziana Di Costanzo's innovative recipes

This woman had a very original idea: creating a diet that is both respectful of the environment and - although many will be skeptical - tasty. So, for 2 years, Tiziana Di Costanzo, after having included insects in her personal diet, has offered them to the customers of her farm through imaginative recipes with an innovative taste. In fact, it has been shown that insect-based nutrition is not only beneficial for the environment but is also a cure-all for our body. So, with insect burgers, smoothies, fried foods and skewers, Tiziana stimulates the curiosity of her customers by creating new recipes every day. Of course, not all insects are edible and we must be very careful that those we eat are properly bred and comply with hygiene rules respecting the right process and hygiene rules. And, for the more skeptical, Tiziana has an important tip: “Some insects have got a stronger taste, so maybe they are not like “starter” insects because, you know, they have a really strong flavor. But crickets are quite neutral, like when you eat shrimp. So if you like shrimps, and if you like popcorn, they are like a dried popcorn shrimp. Between a shrimp and a nut, I’d say. So be a bit curious, be a bit adventurous, stretch your eyes and taste buds and off you go, you'll be really glad you did it".
