Onion bread rolls: ready in a pan in minutes!

Forget the usual bread, this is so much better!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
4 ¼ cups flour;
1 tsp salt;
1 tbsp yeast;
1 ½ cup warm water;
2 large boiled potatoes, peeled;
1 small purple onion, thinly sliced;
¼ tsp black pepper;
¼ tsp turmeric;
½ tsp garlic powder;
Salt to taste.
METHOD
- Mix salt and flour, make a well in the center and add sugar and yeast into it. Pour warm water, mix with a fork lightly, then set aside for the yeast to activate.
- When yeast foam forms on the surface. work the dough with your hands until smooth and soft, form into a ball and place into an oiled bowl. Cover set aside for an hour.
- Cut the dough into 6 portions, roll each one into an oval.
- Puree potatoes with turmeric, salt, pepper and garlic.
- Spread potatoes over the dough making a thin layer. Use a pizza cutter to make slits on top and on the bottom of the oval as shown in the video. Top with onions and roll lengthwise. Form a log into a “snail” shape.
- Heat vegetable oil over medium heat and cook rolls until golden.
