Fried onion bread: a great idea for a simple dinner!

Blend onions and egg together to make an incredible flat bread in no-time!

INGREDIENTS

1 large white onion;

1 garlic clove;

2 eggs;

175 ml (¾ cup) water;

50 g (½ cup) sugar;

1 tsp salt;

30 ml (2 tbsp) vegetable oil;

1 tsp dry yeast;

550 g (4 ⅜ cups) bread flour.

METHOD

Blend garlic, onion, eggs and water until smooth.
Whisk in sugar, salt and vegetable oil.
Sprinkle yeast and flour, knead the dough until smooth.
Set the dough aside for 1 hour, then cut into 9 portions and set aside again for 30 minutes.
Roll each portion out into a flatbread, then fry for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
