Croque Monsieur sandwiches: the recipe of the famous French meal

Ingredients:
Bread:
4 slices bread
100 gr grated cheese
4 slices of ham
Mustard
Bechamel:
20 gr flour
20 gr butter
250 ml of milk
1 clove of garlic
1 bay leaf
1 pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp of mustard
Salt to taste
Directions:
In a skillet melt the butter and add flour, then pour milk and all the sices. Let it cool and toast the bread slices.
Fill the bread with bechamel, ham, mustard and cover with grated cheese. Bake at 400°F (200-220°) for 10 minutes.
