The perfect croque monsieur/madame recipes: how to make them at home!

INGREDIENTS
8 Bread slices
8 Bread slices
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
12 slices of ham
Sauce
100g Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
200ml milk
salt
Pepper
1 pinch Nutmeg
METHOD
Melt butter in a medium saucepan, add flour and mix well.
Gradually add milk, mix until smooth.
Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and parmesan cheese.
Spread sauce on bread, top with 3 slices of ham, grated cheese, bread slice, béchamel sauce and mozzarella cheese
Bake at 180°C/350°F for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
