Tarte croque: you’ll love every bite!

An easy recipe perfect for a friend's dinner night!

INGREDIENTS
 1 cup béchamel sauce;
 12 slices ham;
 6 slices cheese;
 Sandwich bread, pre-sliced;
 4 eggs;
 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded.
 
METHOD
  1. Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
  2. Remove crust from the bread slices and roll each slice out using rolling pin.
  3. Cover the bottom of the baking pan with bread slices, layer ham and cheese on top. Spread half of béchamel sauce on top.
  4. Add more bread, and repeat layers of ham, cheese and sauce. Cover with leftover bread slices.
  5. Using drinking glass, make 4 holes on the top layer of the bread and pour an egg into each hole. Top with cheese and bake for 15 minutes.
