Chocolate turtles: easy and fun Christmas treats to prepare!

INGREDIENTS
225g of caramels
30ml (2 tbsp) of heavy cream
170g of dark chocolate
115g of pecan halves
Coarse salt
METHOD
1. In a small bowl (microwave safe) add the caramels and heavy cream. Transfer to the microwave for 1 minute. Remove the bowl from the microwave and mix with a spatula until smooth.
2. Pour the chocolate into a small bowl (microwave safe) and transfer to the microwave for 1 minute. Remove it from the microwave and mix with a spatula until smooth.
3. Place the pecan halves (3 pieces) on the baking tray covered with parchment paper. Pour about 1-2 teaspoons of caramel over each cluster. Then allow setting.
4. Pour about a teaspoon of chocolate over the top of the caramel. Allow to cool for 1-2 minutes and then sprinkle the coarse salt over top.
5. Transfer the baking tray to the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or until the caramel and chocolate are firm.
