Dark chocolate cake: here's the dessert of your dreams!

A tender, moist homemade chocolate cake with the best smooth, rich, dark chocolate frosting.
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
For cream cheese frosting:
1 1/2 cups butter softened
8 oz cream cheese softened
1 1/2 cups cocoa powder
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
7-8 cups powdered sugar
about 1/4 cup milk as needed
METHOD
- In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixer.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, warm water, and oil.
- Divide batter among the three pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180 ‘ C ( 356 ‘ F )
- In another bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese.
- Add in cocoa powder and vanilla extract.
- Beat in powdered sugar, and add milk.
- Smear the cake with frosting.
