Creamy pie with ladyfingers: everyone will love this dessert!

INGREDIENTS

1 egg;
120 g (⅝ cup) sugar;
100 g (½ cup) butter, melted;
270 g (2 1/6 cups) all-purpose flour;
a pinch of salt;
500ml (2 cups) milk;
3 eggs;
vanilla essence;
130g (3/5 cup) sugar;
Ladyfinger cookies;
80 g (½ cup) chopped chocolate.
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
- Whisk eggs with sugar, add melted butter and a pinch of salt.
- Combine wet ingredients with flour until dough forms. Set the dough aside for 30 minutes.
- Whisk 3 eggs with vanilla, milk and sugar until sugar dissolves.
- Add chopped chocolate into the egg mixture.
- Roll out chilled dough and spread it evenly to cover the baking pan. Place ladyfinger cookies to fill up the pan, then pour milk and egg mixture over.
- Bake the pie for 55 minutes, then leave to cool down completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
