Pickleback Corn-Dog Bites

Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for frying
1/2 cup corn flour
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup light beer
1 tsp whiskey
8 medium dill pickles
8 hot dogs

Method
Mix corn flour, flour, baking powder, sugar, egg, beer and whiskey until combined.
Using an apple corer, hollow out the middle of each pickle.
Put the hot dog on the skewer and place inside the pickle. Dip each hot dog pickle into the batter.
Fry in oil for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.
