Place cookies in a baking pan and pour the filling: a mouthwatering dessert
published on 15 September, 2017 at 11:14
For filling to make layers and cover the cookies: ½ cup of caster sugar2 tablespoons cornflour
1 packet vanillin
2 egg yolks
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
Whipped cream 200 ml
For chocolate filling:
100ml whipped cream mixed with milk 100g dark chocolate
Pour the caster sugar a tablespoon at a time in the saucepan and let it slowly melt over low heat, without stirring but gently rotating the pan. Add sugar only after the previous one has dissolved. Be careful, the sugar should melt well, but it should not burn. Mix caramel until dense. Add butter and whipped cream and mix until smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients, starting from the yolks, then cornflour, milk and vanillin. Cook slowly. Let filling cool and then pour it into a baking pan. Make as many layers as possible with cookies. Then cover with melted chocolate and chopped pistachios or peanuts to taste.
