English Trifle: a delicious and easy to prepare dessert

Ingredients: 300g of ladyfingers
100g of dark chocolate pieces
For the custard cream:
350ml of milk
3 egg yolks
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon full of cornstarch or 00 flour
vanilla
For the bath: 300ml of water
3 tablespoons of alchermes
2 tablespoons of sugar
Create the custard cream by placing the egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch in a pot, then add a little milk and mix well to melt it. Then add the remaining milk and bring everything on the stove. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the cream thickens (if you want you can flavor it with a lemon peel or with a drop of vanilla). Once thickened, put it in a plate and cover it with a film to let it cool. Meanwhile, prepare the bagna putting in a saucepan water and sugar and put it on the fire, making it boil until the sugar dissolves. Reheat and add the alchermes so as to soak the ladyfingers and lay them in a pan. Add the custard cream, now cooled, cover the biscuits and add the flakes of dark chocolate. Make another layer of biscuit and cream (if you like a little 'stronger, add a few more drops of alchermes on biscuits). When the dessert is ready, let it cool in the fridge for at least 4 - 5 hours.
