Hasselback Maple Pecan Sweet Potatoes: a tasty recipe you'll want to try

Ingredients:
2 medium sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup maple syrup
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Directions:
Slice the potatoes, both sides. Brush with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in oven for 30-40 minutes a 425°F. To the melted butter, add cinnamon, chopped pecans, maple syrup, vanilla and kosher salt.Fill the potatoes with this syrup and bake for another 10 minutes.
