Stuffed fritters with custard cream: super soft and yummy

Everyone will ask for the recipe! 
 
INGREDIENTS
Dough:
390g (3 cups) flour
2 eggs
Lemon zest
30g (2 tbsp) sugar
50g butter
140ml (3/5 cup) water
Salt
7g (1 1/2 tsp) dry yeast
Filling:
Custard
Cherries
 
METHOD
  1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, yeast, eggs, lemon zest, sugar, and water. Knead the dough.
  2. Add butter and mix well. Leave the dough to rest for 2 hours.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 parts and make braids.
  4. Place the braids on baking paper and let stand for another 30 minutes.
  5. Fry in hot oil. Roll the fritters in sugar and fill them with custard and cherries. Serve.
