Custard and chocolate chips rolls: soft and delicious!

These sweet brioche rolls are super soft and buttery with a touch of chocolate!
INGREDIENTS
For the dough:
550g (4 ⅜ cups) all-purpose flour;
7g (1 package) dry yeast;
1 egg;
80g (⅔ cup) sugar;
60ml (¼ cup) oil;
250ml (1 cup) milk.

For the custard:
70g (½ cup) chocolate chips;
250ml (1 cup) milk;
1 egg;
50g (½ cup) sugar;
15g (2 tbsp) cornstarch.

15g (2 tbsp) cornstarch.
METHOD
- Whisk egg, sugar, oil, and milk.
- In a separate bowl combine flour and dry yeast.
- Add yeast into the liquids and knead until dough comes together. Set the dough aside for 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, heat up milk for the custard.
- Whisk egg with sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt.
- Pour hot milk into the egg slowly, while constantly whisking.
- Heat up the custard, whisking, for 10 minutes. Let cool down.
- Spread custard on top of the rolled-out dough and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Roll and cut into pieces. Set the rolls aside until doubled in size.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
