Double baking cake: soft, tasty and ready in no time!

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
50g (4 tbsp) sugar
8g (1 1/2 tsp) vanilla sugar
50ml (3 tbsp+1 tsp) milk
50ml (3 tbsp+1 tsp) vegetable oil
110g (7/8 cup) flour
10g (2 tsp) baking powder
165g (1/2 cup) strawberry jam
Chopped nuts (for decoration, optional)
METHOD
- In a bowl whisk eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar.
- Add milk and stir to combine.
- Pour in vegetable oil and whisk the mixture well.
- Stir in sifted flour and baking powder.
- Pour half of the obtained batter into a lined cake pan and bake at 180°C/360°F for 15 minutes.
- Take the cake out of the oven and spread strawberry jam on top.
- Pour in the remaining batter and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
- Brush the top of the cake with some more jam and sprinkle with chopped nuts or any other decoration.
