Creamy cookies: the alternative version of the classic biscuits!

The best cookies you'll ever eat!

INGREDIENTS
125g (1/2 cup) butter, softened
90g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
1 egg
200g (1 1/4 cup) flour
125g (3/4 cup) chocolate chips
50g (12 tsp) hazelnut cream
4g (1 tsp) vanilla extract
4g (1 tsp) baking powder
a pinch of salt

METHOD
  1. Form 12 small hazelnut cream balls using two teaspoons.
  2. Arrange them on parchment paper and transfer them to the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
  3. In a bowl whisk softened butter with brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
  4. Stir in an egg and whisk until homogeneous. Add flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix well. Add chocolate chips and stir to combine.
  5. Continue to mix cookie dough with your hands. When the dough becomes smooth, form a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 170C/340F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  7. Make 12 small balls from the obtained dough.
  8. Take one ball, flatten it with your hands and place chilled hazelnut cream inside. Wrap cookie dough around hazelnut cream and form a cookie. Continue with the remaining dough and hazelnut cream.
  9. Arrange cookies on the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. When baked, let them sit 2-3 minutes on the baking tray, then transfer to the cooling rack.
