Creamy cookies: the alternative version of the classic biscuits!

The best cookies you'll ever eat!
INGREDIENTS

125g (1/2 cup) butter, softened
90g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
1 egg
200g (1 1/4 cup) flour
125g (3/4 cup) chocolate chips
50g (12 tsp) hazelnut cream
4g (1 tsp) vanilla extract
4g (1 tsp) baking powder
a pinch of salt
METHOD
- Form 12 small hazelnut cream balls using two teaspoons.
- Arrange them on parchment paper and transfer them to the fridge to chill for 1 hour.
- In a bowl whisk softened butter with brown sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Stir in an egg and whisk until homogeneous. Add flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt and mix well. Add chocolate chips and stir to combine.
- Continue to mix cookie dough with your hands. When the dough becomes smooth, form a ball, cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 170C/340F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Make 12 small balls from the obtained dough.
- Take one ball, flatten it with your hands and place chilled hazelnut cream inside. Wrap cookie dough around hazelnut cream and form a cookie. Continue with the remaining dough and hazelnut cream.
- Arrange cookies on the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
- When baked, let them sit 2-3 minutes on the baking tray, then transfer to the cooling rack.
