French toast casserole: perfect for a tasty breakfast!

Here's a delicious and quick idea to reuse stale bread!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
3 french bread
3 eggs
100g (1/2 cup) sugar
200ml (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp) creme de leite
400ml (1 1/4 cup) condensed milk
750ml (3 cups) milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
Butter and sugar for greasing
For decoration
Melted chocolate
Powdered sugar
METHOD
- Cut the bread into the pieces.
- In a bowl add eggs, sugar and whisk.
- Add creme de leite, condensed milk, milk, vanilla extract and whisk again until it's well combined.
- Grease the baking tray with butter and sugar and arrange the bread.
Add mixture to the bread and bake in the oven for 180° 40 minutes. - Decorate with melted chocolate and powdered sugar.
