Creme brulee french toast: the result is a delicious puffy french toast with a crunchy crust!

A rich, puffy outer crust makes this baked French toast recipe well worth the time to prepare it!

INGREDIENTS
1 cup cream cheese
3 eggs
2 tbsp yogurt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp rum
3/4 cup fresh cream
 
METHOD
Line the baking form with parchment paper.
In a bowl, add cream cheese and beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs, yogurt, sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, rum and half a cream. Beat, adding the remaining cream.
Strain the mixture through a fine sieve, then pour into the prepared baking form.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
Allow to cool, then use parchment to remove it from the pan.
Sprinkle with sugar and use a brulee burner. Slice and serve.
