Sandwiches with strawberry jam: fluffy and sweet, perfect for your snack time!

With this method, your sweet buns will be so fluffy!
INGREDIENTS
1 egg;
40g (3 tbsp) sugar;
¼ tsp vanilla powder;
60ml (¼ cup) vegetable oil;
150ml (⅔ cup) warm milk;
1 tbsp dry yeast;
a pinch of salt;
400g (2 ½ cups) all-purpose flour;
Strawberry jam, powdered sugar;
Egg wash.
METHOD
- Whisk warm milk with sugar and yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes to activate.
- Add vegetable oil, salt, vanilla and egg, whisk and pour into the flour.
- Knead the dough until it comes together, form into a ball and set aside for 1 hour.
- Cut the dough into 8 pieces, roll into buns, cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Press with the potato press slightly, Make holes in the bread using a chopstick, brush with egg wash.
- Bake at 190C/375F for 18-20 minutes, after 8 minutes remove from the oven and poke holes once more.
- Fill the holes with strawberry jam and decorate using powdered sugar.
