Canederli balls: the original italian recipe ready in no-time!

Here's the perfect recipe to use stale bread!

INGREDIENTS
45g (3 tbsp) butter
2 eggs
1 onion
150g ham
100ml (2/5 cup) milk
3-4 slices of bread
Beef broth
Green onion
Oil
 
METHOD
  1. Chop the ham and onion, then fry them in a buttered pan.
  2. In a bowl with chopped bread cubes, add eggs, ham and onions and green onions.
  3. Pour over the milk and make a dough. Make balls. Put the balls in the beef broth and cook.
  4. Serve the balls with the broth.
