No-bake coconut rolls: a sweet treat ready in no-time!

They are perfect for any occasion!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
1 liter (4 cups) milk;
125g (1/2 cup) butter;
120g (1 cup) flour;
30g (1/4 cup) cornstarch;
200g (1 cup) sugar;
1 packet (1 tsp) vanilla sugar;
200g (2 cups) shredded coconut;
125g (1 cup) chopped nuts;
Melted chocolate for decoration.
METHOD
- Cook melted butter and flour over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes. Pour milk in portions, while whisking constantly.
- Add vanilla sugar and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until very thick. Blend if lumps form.
- Cover 30x40 cm baking sheet with parchment and sprinkle coconut on top. Carefully pour thick cream over and smooth everything with a spatula.
- Top with an even layer of chopped nuts and let sit in the fridge for 3 hours.
- Cut the sheet of cream in half and roll each half carefully. Decorate with melted chocolate, slice and serve right away.
