Savory Phyllo Pastry with beer: every slice is warm and simply tasty!

Wonderfully flaky and with a satisfying crunch, filo pastry!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
Phyllo dough;
3 eggs;
2/3 cup milk;
½ cup butter, melted;
1 tsp baking soda;
Salt to taste;
1 cup cheese;
1 cup cottage cheese;
½ cup parsley, chopped;
½ cup scallions, chopped;
½ cup beer.
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 200C/400F.
- Whisk eggs with melted butter, baking soda and salt.
- Combine shredded cheese with cottage cheese and chopped greens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Layer 5 sheets of phyllo pastry into a baking sheet spreading egg and butter mixture in-between. Top with cheese mixture and continue layering phyllo with eggs and butter until you fill-up the baking pan.
- Slice the cake into portions and pour ½ cup beer on top. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden and crispy on top.
