Multilayer chocolate cake: so rich and decadent

This recipe is the ultimate treat for a chocoholic!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
Sugar 200 g
Eggs 4
Melted butter 90 g
Sour Cream 150 g
Honey 1 tbsp
Soda 1 tsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Flour 240 g
Cacao powder 4 tbsp
Cream:
Milk 600 ml
Sugar 75 g
Cornstarch 3 tbsp
Butter 350 g
Cognac 50 ml
METHOD
- In a big bowl beat eggs with sugar, add in melted butter, sour cream, honey, soda, vinegar, flour and cacao powder, mix it well.
- Grease the pan with butter and spread 2 spoons of dough mixture onto it, bake each for 10 minutes at 180’ C( 356’F )
- In the pan on low heat add milk with sugar and cornstarch, cook until it comes thick, put the plastic wrap on it and let it cool.
- In another bowl beat butter with prepared cream.
- Smudge all cakes with cream mixture and sprinkle with crushed (1-2 cakes) on top.
- Let it rest for 1 hour in the fridge.
