Multilayer chocolate cake: so rich and decadent

This recipe is the ultimate treat for a chocoholic!

INGREDIENTS

Sugar 200 g

Eggs 4

Melted butter 90 g

Sour Cream 150 g

Honey 1 tbsp

Soda 1 tsp

Vinegar 1 tbsp

Flour 240 g

Cacao powder 4 tbsp

Cream:

Milk 600 ml

Sugar 75 g

Cornstarch 3 tbsp

Butter 350 g

Cognac 50 ml

METHOD

In a big bowl beat eggs with sugar, add in melted butter, sour cream, honey, soda, vinegar, flour and cacao powder, mix it well.
Grease the pan with butter and spread 2 spoons of dough mixture onto it, bake each for 10 minutes at 180’ C( 356’F )
In the pan on low heat add milk with sugar and cornstarch, cook until it comes thick, put the plastic wrap on it and let it cool.
In another bowl beat butter with prepared cream.
Smudge all cakes with cream mixture and sprinkle with crushed (1-2 cakes) on top.
Let it rest for 1 hour in the fridge.
