Homemade Crescent Rolls (croissants) : these will take your breakfast to the next level!

Light, flaky, and soft homemade crescent rolls! Made with just a few simple ingredients. 

INGREDIENTS
 1 ¼ cup warm water;
 4 tsp dry yeast;
 3 tbsp butter, melted;
 2 eggs;
 1/3 cup sugar;
 4 ½ cup flour;
 1 tsp salt;
 ½ cup butter, softened.
 
METHOD
  1.  Whisk a pinch of sugar and some dry yeast in warm water. Set aside.
  2.  Meanwhile whisk eggs, butter and leftover sugar until pale. Add yeast solution in.
  3.  Combine flour with salt, pour liquids in and stir until the dough starts to come together.
  4.  Knead the dough with your hands until smooth (for around 10 minutes). Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
  5.  Knead the dough one more time, cut in half roll each half out and brush with softened butter. Cut the dough into triangles and roll.
  6.  Set crescent rolls aside to double in size, then brush with more butter and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180C/350F.
