Homemade Crescent Rolls (croissants) : these will take your breakfast to the next level!

Light, flaky, and soft homemade crescent rolls! Made with just a few simple ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
1 ¼ cup warm water;
4 tsp dry yeast;
3 tbsp butter, melted;
2 eggs;
1/3 cup sugar;
4 ½ cup flour;
1 tsp salt;
½ cup butter, softened.
METHOD
- Whisk a pinch of sugar and some dry yeast in warm water. Set aside.
- Meanwhile whisk eggs, butter and leftover sugar until pale. Add yeast solution in.
- Combine flour with salt, pour liquids in and stir until the dough starts to come together.
- Knead the dough with your hands until smooth (for around 10 minutes). Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- Knead the dough one more time, cut in half roll each half out and brush with softened butter. Cut the dough into triangles and roll.
- Set crescent rolls aside to double in size, then brush with more butter and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180C/350F.
