Cream and strawberry swivels: a refreshing dessert that is sure to impress and satisfy your guests!

Strawberries and Cream swivels are deliciously moist and fluffy, filled with a layer of homemade custard cream and with strawberries on the top. The perfect summer dessert!
INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
For cream :
- Milk 500 ml
- Starch 40 grams
- Egg yolks 6
- Lemon zest to taste
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp
- Sugar 120 grams
For dough:
- Eggs 4
- Flour 120 grams
- Sugar 120 grams
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla extract 1-2 tsp
- Lemon zest 2 tbsp
METHOD
For cream :
In a bowl mix the milk with lemon zest. In another bowl mix the egg yolks then add sugar and starch, mix in milk mixture.
Cook on low heat, stirring all the time until it thickens, add in vanilla.
Cover the cream with a food film.
After a while mix the cream with whipped cream.
For dough :
In a bowl blend good eggs with sugar, salt, vanilla and lemon zest.
Sift the flour into the mixture and mix it.
Pour the dough into prepared baking tray.
Bake at 200 ' C ( 392 F ) for 7-8 minutes.
Sprinkle the dough with sugar powder then flip over it. Cut the dough into 5-7 even parts, pour the cream mixture on them. Spin the dough on rolls. Add the cream and strawberries on top.
