Mini Fruit Tarts: a special dessert with a delicious filling

Recipe:
24 frozen tart shells
2 cups milk
2 tbsp vanilla bean paste
6 egg yolks
3/4 cups white sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cups + 2 tbsp butter
berries and mint for topping
Directions:
Pour 2 cups of milk into a sauce pan with vanilla and bring it to a slight boil. Pour the hot milk into the egg yolk mixture while stirring constantly, add all ingredients. Place the saucepan back onto the stove and heat it over low heat while stirring constantly. Remove the custard from the heat once it's reached a thick and creamy consistency. Place plastic wrap directly on top of the custard, set it aside and let it cool down to room temperature. Scoop out 2 tbsp of the chilled dough into each tart. Arrange the berries and mint onto the tarts.
